The Chardham Yatra is one of the most significant and revered religious pilgrimages for Hindus, situated amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Garhwal region in the state of Uttarakhand, India. This Yatra (spiritual journey) involves visiting four sacred sites – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath – each holding immense spiritual and mythological significance.

Day 01: Haridwar – Barkot (180 kms/6-7hr)
Depart from Haridwar in the morning after breakfast (8 AM) and head towards Barkot via the scenic route through Mussoorie. Along the way, visit Mussoorie Lake and Kempty Fall. Continue your drive to Barkot and check in to the pre-booked hotel. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in Barkot.

Day 02: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 kms drive & 6 kms Trek)
Early morning after breakfast, proceed to Jankichatti or Phoolchatti, from where you’ll start your trek (6 kms) or opt for horse or Doli (at your own cost) to reach Yamunotri. After taking a dip in Jamunabai Kund and seeking blessings at the Yamunotri Temple, return to Jankichatti and drive back to Barkot. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Barkot.

Day 03: Barkot – Uttarkashi (90 kms/3-4hr)
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. On the way, witness the beauty of the Mandakini River at Tilwara. Upon arrival in Uttarkashi, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and explore the town’s ashrams and temples. Return to the hotel for dinner and spend the night in Uttarkashi.

Day 04: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 kms/3-4hr each side)
Early morning, drive to Gangotri via the picturesque Harsil Valley. Take a holy dip in the Garam Kund and visit the Gangotri Temple, dedicated to the sacred Ganges River. After performing pooja and darshan, return to Uttarkashi. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight.

Day 05: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi/Rampur/Sitapur (220 kms/7-8hr)
Start the day with a drive to Guptakashi. Along the way, you’ll pass by the Mandakini River at Tilwara. In Guptakashi, visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple. Check in to the hotel upon arrival in Guptakashi, Rampur, or Sitapur. Enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 06: Rampur/Sitapur/Guptakashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath (30 kms by road & 19 kms Trek one way)
Drive to Gaurikund and begin your trek to Kedarnath. You can choose to trek, use a pony, doli, or helicopter (at your own cost). After visiting the Kedarnath Temple, spend the night in Kedarnath.

Day 07: Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Sonprayag – Sitapur/Rampur/Guptakashi (19 kms + 30 kms)
After darshan and puja at Kedarnath, trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Sonprayag. From there, transfer back to Sitapur, Rampur, or Guptakashi. Spend the night in your hotel.

Day 08: Sitapur/Rampur – Badrinath (160 kms/7hr)
Drive to Pandukeshwar or Badrinath as per your schedule. Explore Pandukeshwar’s KshetraPal Temple and Yog Dhyan Badri Temple. Night stay in Badrinath.

Day 09: Badrinath – Rudraprayag/Srinagar (160 kms/7hr)
Visit the Badrinath Temple, Mana Village, and the confluences (Panch Prayag) of rivers. Proceed to Rudraprayag or Srinagar. Check in to the hotel and spend the night.

Day 10: Rudraprayag/Srinagar – Haridwar (6-7 Hours drive)
Depart from Rudraprayag or Srinagar in the morning and head back to Haridwar, concluding your pilgrimage.

– Tips: Expenses related to tips, travel insurance, medical insurance, camera fees, laundry charges, liquor, mineral water, and telephone calls are not included.
– Natural Calamities: Any extra expenses incurred due to natural calamities like bad weather, landslides, road closures, strikes, political gatherings, etc., are not covered.
– Additional Services: Charges for porter services, ponies, horses, cable car ropeway, boats, train tickets, air tickets, and railway tickets are not included.
